The AID-GCON-SDI locks an SDI camera output to a tri-level or black burst reference signal, ensuring the camera is synchronised with other genlocked cameras in the same production. The active loop output buffers and re-drives the SDI signal to a second destination without signal loss. Essential in multi-camera SDI broadcast setups where cameras must share a common timing reference for clean vision mixing.
