AKG ProfessionalC414 XL II STMatched

AKG C414 XL II ST is the matched stereo pair of the C414 XL II large-diaphragm condenser microphone - the successor to the C414 B-TL II, voiced with the up-front character associated with the classic AKG C12. AKG creates stereo sets using its matching method for three-dimensional recordings.

Sonic character

The C414 XL II shows the unique sonic signature of the highly sought-after AKG C12, helping place lead vocals and solo instruments in dense mixes, and is also known for distant miking applications such as classical recording or drum ambience. The C414 XLS (neutral / B-ULS character) is a different model and is not this SKU.
