Asustor Xpanstor 4 AS5004U — a four-bay hot-swap expansion unit that adds up to 88 TB of SATA storage to a compatible Asustor NAS via a single USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C cable. The AS5004U connects to an existing Asustor NAS at 10 Gbps, appearing as additional drive bays without any complex configuration. Four 2.5″/3.5″ SATA III hot-swap bays accept drives up to 22 TB each, and smart power sync ties the expansion unit’s power state to the host NAS — it powers on and off together automatically. A 120 mm cooling fan keeps drives at safe temperatures under load, and MyArchive cold backup support allows drives to be unmounted and archived when not in use. Sold diskless.
