AudioQuest's patented Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) replaces Long-Grain Copper with solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+), offering a lower noise floor and a smoother, more natural sonic timbre. Solid PSC+ conductors prevent electrical and magnetic strand-to-strand interaction, major sources of distortion, while the ultra-smooth surface minimises harshness and enhances clarity compared to other copper types such as OFHC, OCC, and 8N copper.

The cable's Double Star-Quad geometry optimises the relationship between conductors, improving electrical values like capacitance and inductance, resulting in superior sound quality. Carbon-loaded polyethylene covers the negative conductors to reduce radio-frequency interference and dampen conductor interaction, enhancing dimensionality and reducing "hash."

Foamed-Polyethylene insulation on all positive conductors uses air-filled material to minimise energy absorption and distortion, preserving the audio signal's focus and clarity.
