The Imix Sound XO-204 is a professional 3-way active audio crossover unit designed for PA systems and speaker installations requiring division of the audio signal into three separate frequency bands - low, mid, and high - before each band is sent to a dedicated power amplifier and speaker driver. Operating at line level before the amplifier stage, active crossovers are more flexible and efficient than passive in-cabinet crossovers, allowing independent adjustment of crossover frequency points and the use of matched amplifiers for each driver type. The 3-way configuration makes the XO-204 suitable for full-range tri-amped PA systems covering the woofer, mid-driver, and compression driver sections. Suited to PA system integrators, live sound engineers, and AV installers building or optimising tri-amped professional speaker systems.
