Technology Overview

Hybrid Tractrix® Horn Technology: Klipsch’s proprietary horn-loaded design directs high-frequency energy precisely to the listener, reducing unwanted reverb and delivering clear, detailed sound.

Horn Anatomy: The compressed molded silicon face mated to the 90x90 Tractrix horn reduces resonance for a smooth frequency response. The computer-modelled phase plug acts as a mechanical filter to protect the tweeter and ensure flat frequency response.

All-New Vented Tweeter: This design minimises standing waves behind the tweeter diaphragm, resulting in smoother high-frequency reproduction. The lightweight titanium diaphragm outperforms aluminium, polymer, or silk tweeters, while Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) technology reduces distortion for real-to-life sound.

Cerametallic™ Woofers: The spun copper Cerametallic™ cones are rigid yet lightweight, delivering efficient low-frequency performance with minimal distortion. They are paired with a dual-layer copper-wound voice coil and housed in a non-resonating stamped-steel basket for exceptional efficiency.

Rear Tractrix® Port: Optimised for airflow with minimal distortion or turbulence, the rear-firing port enhances bass response even at the lowest frequencies.

Finished to Perfection: Ebony and walnut finishes feature satin-painted baffles with scratch-resistant coatings, while the piano black model offers a hand-sanded, mirror-like gloss. Magnetic grilles provide protection without compromising style.
