Advanced Acoustic Technologies

Hybrid Tractrix® Horn Technology: Klipsch’s proprietary horn-loaded technology directs high-frequency energy precisely to the listener, reducing unwanted reverb and delivering clear, lifelike sound.

Horn Anatomy: The Reference Premiere series features a compressed moulded silicon face mated to a 90x90 Tractrix horn, reducing resonance for a smooth frequency response. A computer-modelled phase plug acts as a mechanical filter to protect the tweeter and ensure flat response.

All-New Vented Tweeter: The vented tweeter design reduces standing waves behind the diaphragm for smoother high-frequency reproduction. The lightweight yet rigid titanium diaphragm outperforms aluminium, polymer, or silk tweeters, while Linear Travel Suspension technology minimises distortion for realistic sound.

Cerametallic™ Woofers: The RP-404C’s signature quad 4” Cerametallic™ woofers are extremely light and rigid, delivering efficient low-frequency performance. They feature copper-wound voice coils housed in a non-resonating stamped-steel basket secured to a large magnet motor for low distortion and high efficiency.

Rear Tractrix® Port: The rear-firing Tractrix port is optimised for ideal airflow, reducing distortion and turbulence even at low frequencies.
