Technology Highlights
Ring Dome Treble Unit: Mission’s innovative ring dome design fixes the centre of the dome and attaches the voice coil partway across, forming two rings with the voice coil in the centre. This design drives the dome more accurately and efficiently, resulting in lower distortion and superior performance up to 30 kHz and beyond. Transient response and musical detailing, especially of instrument overtones and harmonics, are dramatically improved.
DiaDrive Bass/Midrange Unit: Featuring an advanced aluminium matrix cone with venting to remove trapped air behind the diaphragm, the DiaDrive unit reduces resonance and delivers clear midrange performance beyond 3 kHz. A vented cover controls spurious output from the diaphragm edge, enhancing midrange clarity. The slot port flare includes serrations to streamline high-pressure airflow and reduce port noise.
Driver Bracing System: Oversized magnet systems provide punch and transient attack suited to modern recordings. Special bracing methods improve mechanical integrity, ensuring accurate bass diaphragm response for dynamic, detailed bass output.
Inverted Driver Geometry (IDG): This design equalises acoustic path lengths between bass/midrange and treble units, ensuring seamless integration and making the speaker behave as a unified music system.
