Technology Highlights
New Ring Dome Treble Unit: The ring dome design fixes the centre of the dome and positions the voice coil partway across it, forming two rings with the coil in the centre. This allows more accurate and efficient dome movement, resulting in lower distortion and superior performance up to 30 kHz and beyond. Transient response and musical detailing, especially instrument overtones and harmonics, are dramatically improved.
New DiaDrive Bass/Midrange Unit: Featuring an advanced aluminium matrix cone vented to remove trapped air behind the diaphragm, the DiaDrive unit reduces resonance and delivers clearer midrange performance beyond 3 kHz. The driver surround is covered by a vented cover to control spurious output, enhancing midrange clarity. The slot port has serrations and an asymmetric flare to streamline airflow and minimise port noise.
New Driver Bracing System: Oversized magnet systems provide punch and transient attack for modern recordings. Special bracing improves mechanical integrity, ensuring the bass diaphragms respond accurately to the musical waveform, delivering dynamic bass with superior detail and extension.
Inverted Driver Geometry (IDG): This design equalises acoustic path lengths between bass/midrange and treble units, ensuring seamless integration and making the speaker behave as a single cohesive music system.
