Heritage Series Revival

Wharfedale's Heritage Series recreates iconic loudspeakers from its past using contemporary techniques and materials. The Linton, originally launched in 1965, was a classic hi-fi speaker known for its substantial cabinet and affordability. The new Linton retains the vintage aesthetic with a wood-veneered cabinet and similar proportions, updated with a contemporary finish.

Retro Style, Timeless Musicality

The Linton features a large 200mm Kevlar cone bass driver mounted on a rigid die-cast chassis, a 135mm midrange driver with a woven Kevlar cone housed in its own enclosure, and a 25mm fabric-dome tweeter with a high-flux ferrite magnet. This design delivers deep, well-defined bass, clear and open midrange, and dynamic, expansive sound that brings music to life.

Designed to Appeal

Hand-matched wood veneers and optional matching stands with wood-veneered panels complement the speakers’ classic style. The stands are custom-made to position the speakers at the perfect height for seated listening and feature a rigid metal frame for vibration damping. They also provide storage space for vinyl records.
