Synology DS1525+ — 5-bay NAS powered by the AMD Ryzen V1500B processor with 8GB ECC RAM (no drives included), delivering up to 1,181/1,180 MB/s sequential read/write throughput, built-in 2.5GbE networking with 10GbE support, and capacity expansion to 300TB raw storage via two DX525 expansion units.

The DS1525+ runs Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) for file sharing, photo management, data protection, virtualisation storage, and surveillance. The AMD Ryzen V1500B provides processing power for concurrent users and mixed workloads. Four built-in 2.5GbE ports deliver multi-gigabit out-of-the-box performance with link aggregation; optional 10GbE cards expand throughput further. Two DX525 expansion units add 10 extra drive bays each for a total of 25 bays and up to 300TB raw capacity.
