The Ajax MotionProtect Curtain projects a narrow vertical detection field — unlike a wide-angle PIR, it detects only within a slim plane. This makes it ideal for mounting beside windows (detecting anyone climbing through) or at doorway edges (detecting anyone entering). Because the detection zone is narrow, it can be used in spaces where a wide-angle detector would trigger on pets or legitimate movement nearby. Pet immunity applies within the narrow beam.
