The Imix HD75A is a 120W compression driver designed to be paired with a matching horn or waveguide to produce high-frequency output in PA speaker systems. Compression drivers are the high-frequency transducer in horn-loaded PA cabinets — they convert the amplifier signal into sound at the driver throat, which is then expanded and projected by the horn. The HD75A's 120W power handling makes it suited to medium-to-large PA systems and replacement use in existing horn-loaded speaker cabinets. Install into a compatible horn and cross over from the low-frequency driver using a crossover at approximately 1–2kHz.
