The CA601 supports both low impedance (4/8 Ω) and high impedance (70/100 V) loudspeaker configurations, offering extreme flexibility. It features a high-pass filter to protect transformer-enabled loudspeakers and maintain sound integrity. Input options include balanced 3-pin Euroblock and unbalanced RCA (summed to mono), with loudspeaker output via a 2-pin Euroblock connector. The amplifier’s intuitive dipswitches allow easy output configuration.

Its automatic power management reduces electricity costs by entering sleep mode after 20 minutes without input signal and instantly powering on when audio is detected. The direct drive constant power technology lowers mains power requirements, often allowing use of existing electrical infrastructure, reducing installation and operational expenses while protecting the environment.
