Its compact design anchors the sound field with life-like fidelity, making it perfect for front and centre placement in a home theatre setup. Extensive research and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modelling have optimised the relationship between the new radiating diaphragm and motor design, incorporating larger motor sizes and voice coils for increased excursion, higher power capability, and reduced distortion. The C-CAM gold dome tweeter is optimised for the compact Radius cabinet, featuring a more efficient rear-venting design that releases compressed air behind the tweeter dome, guiding it to a rear-loading chamber for enhanced performance. The HiVe®II port design, inspired by Monitor Audio’s Platinum series, uses rifled grooves inside the port to accelerate airflow and reduce turbulence, resulting in a faster and more dynamic bass response. Single through-bolt driver fixing provides mechanical decoupling and improved mid-band clarity, while also acting as rigid cross-bracing to create a solid, non-resonant cabinet.
