Extensive research and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modelling have optimised the diaphragm and motor design, incorporating larger motors and voice coils for increased excursion, higher power handling, and reduced distortion. The new C-CAM gold dome tweeter is designed to deliver the finest and widest performance within the compact Radius cabinet. Its efficient rear-venting design releases compressed air behind the tweeter dome, guiding it to a rear-loading chamber for improved sound quality. The HiVe®II port, adapted from the Platinum series, features rifled grooves that accelerate airflow and reduce turbulence, resulting in a faster and more dynamic bass response. The single through-bolt driver fixing provides mechanical de-coupling and acts as rigid cross bracing, ensuring a solid, non-resonant cabinet with enhanced mid-band clarity and resolution.
