Indoor and outdoor placement
The IO1 is an all-in-one active speaker: amplifier and streaming are built in, so the system only needs mains power. The pair kit adds a matching passive speaker on the master's speaker output. Lithe Audio specifies weather-resistant construction for indoor or outdoor use; garden spike and pendant kits are optional accessories.
Streaming and control
Stream from a phone or tablet over Wi-Fi with AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast or Spotify Connect, or use Bluetooth 5.0. Multiple IO1 units and Lithe Audio ceiling speakers can be grouped for multi-room playback. Wired Ethernet (in/out) is provided for a hardwired link. The product page also lists Amazon Alexa via Bluetooth and Works with OK Google.
